Here at our Golden, CO dentist office we love new patients! Our practice objective is to get to know our patients and to help them reach their desired smile goals. In fact, our mission statement is, “Our team is committed to providing lifelong dental health in a comfortable, caring environment”.
We strive to give you a great experience from your initial phone call to the completion of your visit. Your first (non-emergency) visit will include a comprehensive examination by the doctor and his assistant. This will include any or all of the following procedures:
– Review of health & dental history
– Any necessary x-rays
– Intraoral pictures
– Evaluation of periodontal health
– Neuromuscular/TMJ/Occlusal Disease exam
– Oral cancer screening
After gathering all of your information, Dr. Sprout will discuss any potential treatment needs and prioritize your future appointments.Your communication with the dental team is very important to achieving your desired results, so please feel free to ask questions. No question is ever foolish. Once your exam is completed and all your questions answered, you will go to the hygienist’s room. The doctor or assistant will inform the hygienist of your dental needs and concerns.
Our hygienist will discuss home care, diet concerns, flossing and brushing techniques and answer any questions that you may have concerning these issues. They will proceed to clean, polish and floss your teeth. At the completion of your appointment, the hygienist will place you on a recall schedule so that we can continue to monitor your dental needs.
You will then be brought to the front office area to schedule your future appointments. At this time, you can also discuss any monetary concerns with the insurance/financial specialist. Before you leave the office, we want to be sure that you have all your questions answered and that you understand all your future dental needs.
